Effective 4/15/2008 I have made a conscious decision that I will no longer be docking the tails of my Yorkie puppies, I feel it is an inhuman practice to have three day old puppies tails amputated for no logical or health reason. AKC standards frown on tails that are cut shorter than mid length, a full length yorkie tail is acceptable by AKC standards.

Socializing
Our puppies are socialized from birth; they are raised in our family room surrounded by 12 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 young children.

Starting at 4 weeks of age , our puppies are introduced to using a potty pad. Which in turn makes it much easer to potty train the puppy when it moves in its new forever home.
